More European search oriented sites

(March 9 2003) Pandia asked its readers for tips on more European sites devoted to Internet searching and search engine marketing. And yes, we did get the response we hoped for.

Trucos google is a Spanish weblog primarily devoted to the topic of Google. It has been online since 2001, and is run by two librarians: Jorge Serrano and Inigo Arbildi.

google.dirson.com is another Spanish weblog on search engines, and -- as the name implies -- focusing in particular on Google.

The Spanish librarian Ricardo Fornas Carrasco is editing Métodos de Busca, a site on efficient Internet searching.

He is also the creator and developer of a popular Spanish directory of specialized search engines called Buscopio. Thanks to Jorge Serrano of Trucos de Google for this info!

Forobuscadores.com is another Spanish site on search engines. The site by Ruben Colomer includes a discussion forum and a search engine marketing resource directory. You'll find search engine news in the discussion forum.

Maxhoo is a French blog focusing on Google. There are search engine news items and resources devoted to other search engines as well, however. Maxhoo is edited by Eric Lebeau.

The Italian "Search Engine Marketing Magazine", SEMS, contains a large number of extensive articles on search engines and optimization. There is also a newsletter.
