Search Engine Pub Conference

Search Engine optimization and marketing experts meet in London on October 12th for another collective brain storming.

The conference is organised by the members of the Webmaster World discussion forum. The conference is targeted at the independent Web professional, and the primary focus of is the role of Search Engines in the marketing and promotion of web sites.

SEO Mastery Workshops

Search Engine Workshops will arrange two new SEO Mastery Workshops this fall, on October 7-9th in Vancouver, British Columbia, and on November 9-11 in Orlando, Florida

The Vancouver SEO Workshop on Oct. 7-9 features a visit from SEO (search engine optimization) guru Michael Campbell, the author of Nothing but Net.

Robin Nobles and John Alexander will be conducting the hands-on SEO training session.

Search Engine Strategies Conference

Danny Sullivan of Search Engine Watch will arrange a new conference in his Search Engine Strategies series in Munich, Germany on October 17 and 18 2002.

There will be speakers from Allesklar, AltaVista, FAST, Espotting, Google, Inktomi, Lycos Europe, Overture & Yahoo! as well as experienced search engine marketers.

Among the topics covered are search engine optimization tips and tools, designing search engine friendly Web sites, buying paid listings, search term research and much more.

Jill Whalen's Search Engine Marketing 1/2 Day Seminar

SEO guru Jill Whalen has her own search engine marketing seminar on November 18 at the Boston Marriott Burlington, Mass., New England.

Among the topics covered are selecting search engines, design issues, choosing keywords, writing killer title and meta tags, SE and directory submissions, link popularity, log analysis and more.

Amsterdam search engine marketing conference

On September 23 and 24 Internet Conferences was to arrange a search engine marketing conference in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The conference has been cancelled.

Internet Librarian 2002, Palm Springs

The Net has changed the everyday business of librarians dramatically, hence the need for special search engine conferences for search and research professionals.

Websearch University, Washington D.C.

The WebSearch University on October 22-23, 2002, in O'Hare, Chicago,USA gathers many of the World's top searchers for courses in online information retrieval.

Among the experts present are Greg Notess, Reva Basch, Mary Ellen Bates, Chris Sherman, Gary Price and Pandia award winner Alan Schlein.

There are introductions to power Web searching, search engine technologies, the invisible Web, Web market research tools, business research tactics, news resources and more.

There will be another conference on November 19-20, 2002, at the Marriott Las Colinas, in Dallas.
