A Google free day?
Alternative Search Engines would like us to make April 1st a day without Google.
Charles Knight writes that all they are asking is that for one day we try one of the Top 100 Alternative Search Engines listed by AltSearchEngines.com:
“And no, it’s not a joke, we’re very serious,” Knight continues. “Choose one, choose several, but for One Day give the Alternative search engines a fighting chance and see what life would be like without Google. It will be alright. Really.”
Co-editor Susanne has been using Ask.com instead of Google for one month now, and seems to be coping well.
Nevertheless, I can feel an anxiety attack lurking at the back of my head. A whole day without Google? Think not! I… need… my… Google … fix….
