Sensebot gets an upgrade
Search result summary search engine Sensebot gets better results.
We reported on Sensebot last summer. Sensebot is a search engine that takes results from Google, Yahoo! and Live and summarizes them into one concise digest on the topic of your query.
Dmitri Soubbotin of Sensebot reports that they have just released a major update to SenseBot:
“The main emphasis in it is made on proper weighting of the Web pages participating in the summary. In our testing, we’ve seen a resulting increase in the quality of the summaries - and hopefully the users will notice it too!”
There is a test page available if you want to try it out.
If you think that Sensebot is similar to the text mining search engine iResearch Reporter we presented on Wednesday, that is apparently no coincidence, according to Soubbotin.
The two projects have been in contact at an earlier stage, although the partnership never took off.
