Search the Web more efficiently
At Pandia we continue our spring cleaning, having updated several of our search engine tutorials.
Daniel Bazac’s guide to Internet searching
One of our most popular feature articles ever, was Daniel Bazac’s guide to Internet searching, called Search the Web More Efficiently from 2003. It has definitely passed the test of time.
For the benefit of new readers we have now updated it for the 2006 search engine scene. Editorial additions and changes are clearly marked as such.
The Goalgetter search engine tutorial
But that’s not all, we have also updated our own guide to Internet searching, the Goalgetter Search Engine Tutorial.
This is one of the best known (if not the best known) Internet search tutorials on the Web, and is actually used by several American colleges and universities in their teaching!
Search Engine Marketing 101
We have also gone through our search engine optimization and marketing tutorial, the Search Engine Marketing 101, checking facts and updating links.
We have also shortened it a bit, added new headlines and changed fonts in order to make it easier to read.
Andy Beal’s guide to Basic Search Engine Marketing
Finally, we have added comments to Andy Beal’s excellent series on Basic Search Engine Marketing from 2003.
His basic search engine optimization advice is as valid now as it was then, although the search engine scene has changed quite a bit in the last three years. And yes, all changes have been OK’ed by Andy.
