Having followed the search engine industry for more than 10 years, there is one name that stands out as the search engine industry expert, namely Danny Sullivan.
He was originally the man behind the highly influential Search Engine Watch site. He later left SEW to establish a new web presence: Search Engine Land, which then gave birth to a whole new conference series on search engine marketing: SMX.
What we really like about Danny (apart from the fact that he knows so much about search engines), is that he has remained a down to earth likeable guy. Knowing everyone that means something in the industry could have gone to his head. It hasn’t.
