New job for Gary Price
Congratulations to Gary Price on his new job! Gary will be joining Ask Jeeves as Director of Online Information Resources. It is good to see that the search engine industry values his kind of competences.
At ask Jeeves he will be doing outreach to the library and education communities, which means, among other things, working with both communities to ensure that Ask Jeeves continues to be a product that librarians and educators can count on.
Gary will also be doing product development. He will be a voice for the library and education communities when new products are developed and he will have a special responsibility for the development of Smart Answers.
We’re happy to hear that Gary will keep on blogging at ResourceShelf and DocuTicker. Here at Pandia we especially enjoy ResourceShelf, which won the 2004 Pandia Award for best weblog on searching.
