Ask Jeeves gets their own image search engine
Ask Jeeves has had image search as an option for some time. Now this feature is powered by Ask’s own image search technology.
The brand new image search engine has two features especially worth noticing. The first is that Ask, perhaps not surprisingly, expands its Zoom technology to image search. Zoom is Ask’s tool to help you refine your search. When you perform a search, you are offered suggestions on how to expand or narrow your search.
So if you perform an image search for “heart”, Zoom suggests that you might want to expand your search to both heart and lungs or narrow it to search only for images of the human heart.
Another nice feature in Ask’s new image search engine is the way it is integrated with MyJeeves. MyJeeves is a free way to save, organize search results or web pages and now also images. You can organize your saved items in folders and add notes. You can also choose to share your MyJeeves items online.
