Wikibooks
Wikibooks are open content textbooks, manuals, and other texts that are written collaboratively.
Wikibooks include textbooks and related non-fiction books with supporting books and booklets, such as annotated literary and other classics, about all kinds of subjects.
The Wikibooks project is a Wikimedia project and a sister project to Wikipedia. The collection of books and book modules is still small, but with the popularity of wikis and the fantastic growth of Wikipedia, Wikibooks will probably grow up quickly.
Some of the books are completely original and others began as text copied over from other sources of GNU Free Document Licence textbooks found on the Internet.
Like all wikis, Wikibooks are written collaboratively. Anyone, including you, can edit any book module by clicking on the edit this page link that appears in every Wikibooks module. If you find this thought fascinating, you can play around in the wiki sandbox t to try it out.
If you have something to share and enjoy the wiki model, you can start a new module or find an existing module and add a new section to it. And you don’t have to worry too much about making mistakes - if you get something slightly wrong, then you, or anyone, can always fix it later.
On the other hand, if you don’t like the thought that your work can be edited or redistributed by anyone, Wikibooks is not for you; all contributions are considered to be released under the GNU Free Documentation License.
You can find books in many languages. Through the Wikibooks portal you can find books in 45 languages.
