MSN testing new text ad program
For the moment MSN Search is using Yahoo’s pay per click text ads to generate revenue.
It is not a secret, however, that Microsoft is preparing its own version of Google’s AdWords or Yahoo’s paid listings.
MSN’s own blog now reports that the company is looking for small and medium sized companies that can take part in a test pilot of its new paid listings program called MSN AdCenter.
For an unspecified period of time MSN will include AdCenter text ads mixed with Yahoo’s paid listings.
Business-owner can apply to participate in the US Pilot by completing an online registration form.
By the way, Oilman had the story first.
