Pandia launches search engine promotion portal

The Pandia Search Central, an online guide to search engines and Internet searching, has launched a new portal for search engine promotion resources and tools.

The new section, which is called Pandia SEO, contains links to sites devoted to search engine promotion, to online tools and software for Web page optimization, and to facilities for submitting sites to search engines and directories.

"Pandia's main focus will remain Internet searching," says co- owner and editor Per Koch, "but we believe our expertise may benefit webmasters seeking to improve their search engine ranking."

The search engine promotion section also include a separate search engine chart with links to add URL pages at the major search sites.

"Although you may use automatic add URL tools when submitting to minor search engines, you should never risk that when dealing with the search engine giants," co-owner Susanne Koch says. "You may risk worsening your site's position, and may even get banned altogether".

The Pandia Search Central is devoted to information on search engines and directories. It contains the popular Goalgetter Search Engine tutorial, sections for search engine news and reviews, a metasearch engine, a Web directory and an index of online radio stations.

The Pandia Newsfinder, an online search engine and directory for current news, has been chosen by USA Today as one of the most useful sites of the year 2000.
