search.go.comGo has launched its own Google-like search site, following the new "clean and uncluttered" philosophy. We like it, although there is nothing new here, really. There is also a page for advanced searching based on pull down menus. To do some Boolean searching however, you must use the simple search box. The search results seem to be the same as in the standard Go search.
The search.go.com page, however, has a small version of the old Infoseek logo. Infoseek is the name of the much loved search site that was assimilated by Go, and is now the name of the search engine that powers Go and search.go.com. By using the Infoseek logo, Go is probably indicating that they will continue to cater for the serious searcher.
