Detailed Review

Founded in 2006 in San Jose, California, Wrike is an intuitive online project management tool for ensuring easy, smooth, and fast completion of tasks across teams distributed geographically. The platform is used by more than 6000 paid users according to the official website.

Embedding diverse management and security tools in its social interface, the tool tends to boost productivity without any hassle. Further, the technologically matured collaboration and communication tools add up to precise supervision and analysis, together making up a better working environment.

Different Editions

There are two editions on offer: Free and Premium. The Free edition features unlimited collaborators, 2GB space, 5 users, and common functionalities such as mobile apps, file sharing, task prioritization, real-time activity streaming, table view, advanced e-mail integration, and integration with Google Docs, Dropbox, and iCal.

On the other hand, the Premium edition along with the common functionality features unlimited users, 5GB space, Gantt charts, reports, time tracking, workload view, Outlook and Apple Mail add-ins, and dashboard with custom widgets. It also comes with integration with Excel and MS Project, advanced task filters, mass actions with tasks, and activity filters.

Features

Wrike implements strategic plans rapidly with real-time user responses to several opinions. It has the power to create Gantt Charts from e-mails and it offers several views to show up the real, big picture for improving overall efficiency. The team can access latest task information due to which tracking deadlines become easier for the employees and managers and employees. You can prioritize tasks, give feedback, and view updates in real time in a single workspace.

E-mail Integration

When you send an e-mail, Wrike saves it as a task and reminds it when the deadline is near. Further, you can even mail for sharing the task status or discussing a task with the concerned authorized person. With the Outlook or Apple Mail add-ins also, your emails are converted into tasks that are editable in the interactive tab in the Inbox.

Task Management

This deals with the ability to create accurate plans and make them noticeable to whomever you want. You can even produce task dependencies, see a project overview, add milestones, and view the interactive timeline or Gantt chart. In the Activity Stream, you can see live project updates just like in Facebook. If you wish, you can filter updates per project and discuss with the team about the important tasks.

Workload and Collaboration Management

The interface has a special interactive chart for supervising your team's workload and adjusting its allotment in the desired manner. It is much faster and smoother than Excel. You can organize your project data conveniently by creating subprojects, duplicating existing projects, and sharing a single task across projects.

It is now quick to spot the right document version, as Wrike allows connecting and editing all files of a specific task without downloading. You can even share data in the task, project, and subproject levels for collaborating with several teams.

Enterprise Version

Wrike launched its enterprise edition in December 2013. The enterprise version unlocks many features including OKTA & SAML integration for SSO, SSAE 16 Data Centers, Advanced Analytics features, personalization and customization for branding, SalesForce integration and much more. These plans, as the name suggest are ideal for enterprise clients who may have hundreds or thousands of users working on different projects.

Conclusion

Consider Wrike if you need a basic project management software. Although it takes time for you to learn it, the software is just reliable for managing projects.

Wrike REview

Wrike By Chandan on March 23rd

Wrike is an awesome tool for project management. It allows a good platform to project managers to manage the tasks, hours with their team members. It has the features of tagging which is a good feature. Its mobile app is also good and notification works fast. you don't need to rely on the emails for task update. as soon as a person updates the task it sends notification to the followers and assigner. However the UI is little bit complex and need training. it needs some simplification. Overall its a good tool

Wrike

Wrike By David McGinty on February 9th

Wrike is the best web based project management software on the market. The Gannt charts make my projects look just as professional as that other expensive software. I recommend Wrike to all business professionals I talk to. It is the only way I can keep up with all my different jobs and projects.

Wrike Review

Wrike By Tory Trone on January 28th

We have tried a few different Project Management Websites. First was Basecamp, simple and clean, but we wanted more. Tracky was buggy and continually changing their system and personality. Wrike was more expensive, but you do get what you pay for, and what you get is well worth it. Wrike came with the features we wanted. Email support, so you can respond to tasks inside emails. Task sharing with those that are outside the organization. A UI that is easy to understand. Cloud storage and document support. Wrike is also very reliable, it just works. Other software we tried was just to buggy and temperamental, it doesn’t matter how many features you have if they don’t work when the customer tries to use them (I’m looking at you Tracky, Microsoft, software developers in general). It’s been over a year since we began using Wrike, and they continue to improve and and value. They also respond to the community and add much asked about features, i.e. Sub-Tasks. Their user interface gets easier to use with each update, thank you dashboard and descendent-tasks. I do wish that Wrike included more user accounts for our level. It’s hard to figure out if a person is a “User” (able to create tasks) or just a “Collaborator”. And I would like them to have add the ability to have external bug task creation. Summary: Wrike is worth the money, the system makes since to users, they are adding great features with each update, and have great customer support and documentation. Spend the money and get software that really helps you and your team work better.

WRIKE - powerful PM tool

Wrike By Heiko B on January 22nd

We are using Wrike over 2 years. I find it flexible and powerful, tasks can be easily categorized to allow you to handle your work in a variety of ways. Wrike is very useful tool for managing projects and tasks which makes your work easier and more effective and it helps the department in our company to keep organized. The communication between other departments in our company is much better and helps to get things done more effectively. The email to task function and the google chrome integration are perfect goodies. In dashboard you have a perfect overview to all assigned, to do and overdue tasks and in activity stream you get news about the work that is done in your team. Wrike is improving continually and over time they have developed many new features in order to achieve better efficiency. Best of all, they take user feedbacks to make their changes. I'm looking for new ideas, they will surely come up with.

I absolutely love it. A+

Wrike By Emily on January 20th

I've been using Wrike for about 5 months and I absolutely love it. Before this job we just simply worked off of process docs and hoping that everyone was on the same page. What a nightmare! Wrike makes it so easy to keep track of where projects are, what you as an individual have to do or are responsible for and then it does analytics on your team's productivity. Love it!

Wrike Review

Wrike By Bernabé Torres Campo on January 13th

Wrike is an amazing tool that is pushing forward our productivity in a big way. It not only helps to organize tasks and projects, but it forces you to be collaborative and transparent as well, keeping track of your tasks and everyone else's (if they choose to share the folder). It has a "social network" kind of feel to it where you can tag people and have conversations. The compatibility wigh Google Apps is also great. The customization also helps a lot.
