SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION First Internet Marketing Bar Conference a big hitNo more than seven months after the very successful London Pub Conference the sister event, the Internet Marketing Bar Conference gathered Internet professionals for a day and a night of intense networking.
It happened in Irvine, California on 24 February at the Crazy Horse Bar. Visitors from some 8 countries and 21 of the United States attended the conference. Pandia was there, all the way from snowy Norway. If you are not yet familiar with this kind of conference let me explain the concept. Basically, it is a conference without a conference. There is no programme, no speeches, no agenda, just a bar packed with SEO professionals. The sole objective of the get-together is networking, and what a great opportunity it is to do just that. The arrangements for the conference were made by some of the very knowledgeable moderators of Webmaster World and many of them were there. The conference was sponsored by TopDog, Fast/AlltheWeb, Positiontech, Overture and Inktomi. The sponsors were all represented at the Crazy Horse along with Google AdWords and others.
It seemed no matter whom you would like to talk to, no matter what Internet secret you wanted to figure out, you had a chance at the Bar Conference. Did you miss it? Fret not. There will probably be another Pub Conference in London this fall.
