Founded in the year 2008, Zopim was acquired by Zendesk, Inc. in April 2014. With its headquarters in Singapore, Zopim provides chat support software that can cater to the requirements of large and small businesses alike. Serving as many as 50,000 businesses at the present moment according to official website, Zopim’s software has an intuitive interface that provides detailed chat analytics and tools for companies to use.

Setup and Customization

The user interface is intuitive and customizable. The setup is as easy as pasting a line of code onto your website. If you're using WordPress, Shopify, Magento, Drupal or Joomla, the setup procedure is as simple as installing a plugin. The chat widget can be tailored in terms of color, size and placement to match your website theme.

Ease of Use

Ideal Product for Small Businesses

We use Zopim's Advanced plan with 2 agent seats. The plan is packed with dozens of features including advanced triggers based on user's activity, geography and behavior. These trigger settings (albeit available with many live chat software) save a lot of time and send proactive invites to users who're likely to convert.

Needless to say, live chat programs are always helpful to increase conversion. We sell a mid-ticket product ($150-200) and this helps in converting a lot. The advance plan comes with almost all the features excluding agent reports and real time monitoring but for small businesses, this plan is still good enough.

I didn't need to deal much with their support as integration to website was almost self-explanatory. However, support seems quick and nice. Overall satisfied with product and value for money.

Worth Every Penny

Zopim is innovative chat service. Earlier i used their free service for quite sometime and then recently switched to paid plan (two users). Far better than competition, offers all the essential features and very very intuitive UI. Once they were acquired by Zendesk, i though they'll screw their customers by integrating product with Zendesk but thankfully the service is still the same. Definitely recommended.

Zopim is undoubtedly a fantastic product!

We are into such a niche where live chat helps improving conversion rate a lot. I have tried 4-5 live chat products earlier, but Zopim rocks. From a user experience to website integration and visitor monitoring, this product does the job very well why no other products offer quality of features as Zopim does and at this price. I have used this service for more than 8 months now and can't ask for more. Probably only "complete" product available in the market at this time.
